Biography
Rosha Ipakchi is an Iranian-American 12-year-old violinist hailing from Virginia, USA. She is currently studying under the guidance of Monika Chamasyan-Dorosheff.
Throughout her training, Rosha has delved into major works such as Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5 in A major, Zigeunerweisen by Pablo de Sarasate, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Vitorio Monti’s Czardas, Bach’s Concerto in A minor, and Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins in D minor.
Rosha is a member of The Capitol Symphonic Youth Orchestra (TCSYO) and currently serves as the concertmaster. Her musical prowess has been showcased in competitions and performances. Some of her recent prizes include 1st place in the 2024 Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association String Concerto Competition, 1st runner-up in the 2023 USA Artists of the Year International Competition held by IYMC, 1st prize in the 2023 Radda Rise International String Competition, 1st prize in the 2023 King’s Peak International Music Competition, grand prize in the 2023 International Youth Music Competition, and performance at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York.
Looking to the future, Rosha aspires to grace the stage as a soloist, sharing her musical gifts with audiences worldwide. Beyond her musical pursuits, Rosha finds joy in reading fiction novels, playing tennis, and biking.
